Your first thinking session
How to start, what to expect, and how to get the most out of it.
A thinking session works best when you bring something real: a decision you are circling, an idea you cannot shape, a problem that will not sit still.
Starting a session
- From Home, hit Start thinking (or open Workshop in the sidebar).
- Pick a thinking mode that matches what you are working through. Not sure? Decision is the everyday default.
- Write your messy starting point. You do not need a clean question. "I think I want to quit my job but I am not sure" is a perfectly good opener.
What happens next
Inwitt asks you one question at a time. Answer honestly and concretely. If a question does not land, say so and it will come at the problem from another angle.
While you talk, the board on the right draws what you say into a live diagram: your points, your connections, your open questions. Nothing appears there that you did not say.
Ending a session
When your thinking lands somewhere, wrap up the session and Inwitt generates a receipt: what you came in with, what you realized along the way, what you decided, and any tasks you committed to. Planning-type sessions offer to move those tasks straight onto your task board.
Tips
- Type in fragments if you want. It is thinking, not an essay.
- If you catch yourself asking Inwitt for the answer, notice it. That is the exact habit the tool is built to break.
- Sessions autosave. Leave anytime and pick it back up from your library.
